D-ARCH Pathways+ #1

Event Description

The first event of the new initiative D–ARCH Pathways+, organized in collaboration with Architektura (the representative body of the students).
 
This initiative aims to improve understanding and access to academia by exposing the “hidden knowledge” of the university system and demystifying the transition from student to scientific staff (and higher academic positions), both within design studios and research teams. Further information can be found in the attached outline.

At the first event on March 25, we will host a workshop/moderated exchange on the systematics of academia, analyze “hidden knowledge,” and share insights into current barriers for students and staff. This mapping of hidden knowledge and thresholds in academia will inform the second event on April 22, structured as a fireside chat with guests and concluding with a speed-mentoring session.
