General Assembly HS24

Event Description

This is a key meeting for the scientific staff at the D-ARCH (which you are part of!). At the general assembly, we will update you on the activities of the AAA, discuss current and ongoing topics and proceed to elections for open positions. 

The AAA is the Association of Assistants at the ETH Zürich Department of Architecture. It represents the scientific staff of the Department of Architecture: assistants, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers. Anyone from the scientific staff is automatically a member of the AAA.

Open Positions

There has been a correction in the open positions as the number of delegates in the UK has decreased from five to four, hence we only have two open positions. If you are interested in one of the positions, you can let us know during the GA. We will then ask you to tell us briefly about you in 2,3 sentences and then we will collectively hold an election during the GA.

AAA Statuten

In the upcoming GA, we also want to discuss the AAA statutes revision we have underdone. Last semester, you have been invited to discuss the statutes / bylaws in a townhall meeting with us. The AAA board has revised some articles to reflect the structure of the AAA as it is today. We also took this opportunity to gender the document accordingly and creating an English translation, which is legally non-binding, but for everybody to understand.

We are looking to get a vote on these new AAA Statutes.
